The Bernia Mountains

From Xaló we can access the Sierra de Bernia, a car excursion that we often recommend because on the way to the mountain we find the Donkey Sactuary, where the Les Murtes association raises and cares for donkeys of the typical peninsular varieties. Already in the mountains there are a lot of restaurants, in many cases installed in restored farmhouses, and which offer excellent food, and the views of the Peñón de Ifach Natural Park in Calp are spectacular.
